Fort Adams, Newport, Rhode Island
There are many facets to NEWPORT. In addition to the mansions, sailing history, and Naval War College, one might want to visit Fort Adams. Each year there is a Civil War reenactment.
Comprehensive tours are offered by fort personnel as well.
